Privacy information

Your information.

Substance Digital Ltd is responsible for the information you send through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email substancerecordingstudio@gmail.com.

Project enquiries

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, service interests and project description. Company, phone, budget, timing and other project details are optional. We use these details to answer your enquiry, discuss a quote and arrange a project. Providing the required information lets us respond; you can also contact us directly by email. Please do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

We use enquiry information to take steps you request before entering a contract, or for our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell enquiry information or make decisions about you using automated profiling.

Services that process information

Cloudflare hosts the website and processes technical information such as IP addresses and requests to deliver and protect it. When you submit an enquiry, FormSubmit processes the form and emails it to our Gmail inbox, provided by Google. FormSubmit retains submissions in its archive for 30 days and uses Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam.

These providers operate internationally and may process information outside the UK. Their privacy information explains their processing and protections: Cloudflare, FormSubmit and Google. Contact us with questions about the services used for your enquiry.

How long we keep enquiries

We keep enquiry correspondence while it is needed to answer your request, prepare a quote or manage an agreed project. Any further retention depends on outstanding contractual, accounting or dispute responsibilities. Information that is no longer needed is removed. You can ask us to delete enquiry information; we will explain if there is a reason we must retain particular records.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. Email us using the address above to make a request.

You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Contact us to explain your objection so we can review it.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and which public pages people find useful. Google processes page views, browser and device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. We do not send enquiry form contents to Analytics. Advertising storage and personalisation are disabled. Analytics does not load before you accept, or when you reject it.

You can accept or reject analytics with the cookie choice, and change or withdraw your consent using Cookie settings. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* are set only after acceptance and are configured to last up to 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops further collection and removes these cookies; it does not remove data already collected. Browser settings can also remove cookies.

Google operates internationally and may process analytics information outside the UK; see Google’s privacy information and Analytics data safeguards. Contact us about your analytics information or rights. Hosting security services may use essential cookies. FormSubmit and reCAPTCHA use their own security cookies and privacy information when you submit an enquiry.
